The San Andreas State Parks Rangers is a parody of the U.S. State Parks and The California State Park Rangers.  As mentioned before, they attend the same academy with the SAHP.  And can become dual rated to perform both jobs after 5 years of service if desired. However, the vast majority of the park rangers do not partake in this. Most of them are environmentalists, and conservationists into nature, and see law enforcement as a secondary function. The vast majority of the dual rated come from the Highway Patrol. The SA Park Rangers also oversee environmental permits and mitigation issues on the island. They work closely with the Port Police, U.S. Coast Guard, Fire Department Haz-Mat, and the US Military in keeping the San Andreas island chain environmentally safe.
