ANDREW REED
Andrew is a Blaine County native. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Army, and later assigned to the 1st Calvary Division. Andrew was part of the first units to invade Afghanistan shortly after the attack on the World Trade Center in New York (9/11). This happened near the end of his time in the army and he served a total of 8 years before leaving at the rank of Sergeant. Andrew joined the Blaine County Sheriff’s office shortly after leaving the army and rose through the ranks to the position of Senior Deputy. A Senior Deputy is fifth in command of the BCSO. It’s like the highest enlisted rank in the military equivalent. Andrew is certified in SWAT, Search and Rescue, EMT-D, Crime Scene Investigating, certified law enforcement instructor, and Wildland Firefighting. Andrew’s reputation is known throughout the San Andreas and Hawaiian Island Chains. He teaches crime scene preservation at ULSA and to all of the law enforcement agencies and fire departments on San Andreas and some in Hawaii. He is also the range master for the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office. He is affectionately known as “The Mentor.”
A 21 year veteran of the BCSO, Andrew is married to his wife Marla of 26 years and resides in Paleto Bay.
