Adil Rahoo

 

   Adil’s family immigrated to the United States from the Addu Atoll in the Maldives when he was 10 years old. He was born in Addu City which is in the southernmost atoll chain located just south of the equator in the Arabian Sea, west of the Indian and Siri Lankan Coasts. His family settled in the San Andreas Island Chain which is located 87 miles south of the Hawaiian Island Chain, in the city of Los Santos.  

 

After graduating high school, Adil went to ULSA and earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. While in college he also played on the water polo team. Mr. Rahoo took a job working at the harbor as a deckhand on a tugboat at night to help pay for his tuition. He also worked as a bouncer on the weekends at the night clubs in West Vinewood.  Burning the candle at both ends with little to no sleep for four years payed off when he became the first one in his family to earn a college degree. And having no student loans at the end of all of that was the cherry on top.  Adil tested for all of the law enforcement agencies on San Andreas. He got accepted into the LSPD and the Port Police. Being a harbor rat already and coming from from an Atoll, he thought the Port Police would be a better fit. 

 

Adil is married to his wife Martha with three kids. A boy and two daughters and resides in Mirror Park.
